Lisbon Bica gets its intense character, spiciness and almond aromatic notes especially from Nicaraguan and Salvadoran Robusta beans. Our Lungo coffee is crafted by blending light-roasted and finely ground Arabica beans with dark-roasted Robusta beans.
Lisbon contains more dark-roasted Robusta than light-roasted Arabica, which gives it its bitter and nutty flavor. Lisbon Bica is made mainly from Robusta beans, which gives it the nuances of traditional Portuguese coffee. Arabica and Robusta complement each other perfectly to create a bold espresso with a bitterness and spiciness. A high-intensity coffee, featuring roasted cereal and nutty undertones, complemented by roasted almonds.
