CAUTION

• Read all instructions before using the Nespresso Barista Shaker. Keep these instructions in a place where they can be found and referred to later, and pass them on to any subsequent user.
• The Barista Shaker is intended for preparing cold coffee and milk-based recipes according to the instructions provided.
• Do not use the shaker for anything other than its intended use.
• This product is intended for household and similar use only, such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments.
• Do not use the shaker with boiling liquids or liquids at extreme temperatures.
• Do not use the shaker with carbonated drinks. Pressure may build up inside the container and cause the lid to open unexpectedly.
• Always make sure the lid is securely closed before shaking.
• Hold the lid firmly during use to avoid leakage or spillage.
• Open the shaker carefully after use, especially when it contains hot, warm, foaming or pressurised ingredients.
• Do not overfill the shaker. Respect the maximum filling level, if indicated.
• Do not place the shaker in a microwave, oven, freezer or on a hot surface.
• Do not use the shaker on or near hot surfaces, for example radiators, stove tops, gas burners or similar.
• Do not use the shaker if it is cracked, deformed, leaking or otherwise damaged.
• Do not use sharp utensils or abrasive tools inside the shaker, as these may damage the surface.
• Do not shake with ice cubes or hard ingredients unless permitted in the product instructions.
• Keep the shaker out of reach of children when filled with hot or potentially harmful liquids.
• This product may be used by children only under adult supervision and only if they understand the hazards involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
• The Barista Shaker is intended to prepare beverages. No liability is accepted for other purposes, faulty use, inappropriate handling or non-professional modifications. Warranty services may also be excluded in such cases.
• Milk and plant-based drinks must be purchased from reputable sources and stored according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Soy, almond and oat drinks may be used for preparations. These are sources of allergens and are not suitable for people with relevant allergies.
• For people with food allergies or intolerances, use a separate shaker for each type of milk or plant-based drink to avoid cross-contamination of allergens such as milk, gluten, almond or similar.

CLEANING

• Clean the shaker before first use and after each use.
• Disassemble all removable parts before cleaning.
• Wash with warm water and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, sharp objects, scouring pads or aggressive cleaning agents.
• Allow all parts to dry fully before reassembling or storing.
• Check that the lid, seal and any removable components are correctly positioned before each use.
• If the product is dishwasher safe according to the product instructions, place components only in the recommended dishwasher section and follow the maximum temperature guidance. If dishwasher suitability is not confirmed, wash by hand only.

DISPOSAL

• Packaging materials and the product contain materials which can be recovered or recycled.
• Separation of the remaining waste materials into different types facilitates the recycling of raw materials.
• Dispose of the product and packaging in accordance with local waste sorting and recycling instructions.
