CAUTION

• Read all instructions in the user manual and all safety instructions before operating the device. Save these instructions in a place available at all times and ensure that they are passed on to any subsequent owner.
• The NanoFoamer is intended for preparing milk foam and plant-based drink foam according to the instructions provided. Do not use the device for anything other than its intended use.
• The device is intended for household and similar use only, such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments.
• This device must only be supplied at safety extra-low voltage.
• To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the main body of the device in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use or charge the device if the charging port, battery compartment, USB cable or device is damaged in any manner.
• Any damage to the Li-ion battery inside the device may cause hazards, including fire or electric shock.
• Avoid any contact with water while charging. Make sure the device is completely dry before charging.
• Unplug the device from the charging source once charging is completed and before using, cleaning, assembling or disassembling the device.
• Do not charge the device with a damaged USB cable.
• To avoid hazards, never place the device on or beside hot surfaces, for example radiators, stove tops, gas burners or similar.
• Do not use the device near flammable or explosive substances.
• Do not attempt to open, modify, disassemble or repair the device yourself. The battery is not replaceable.
• Do not operate the device if it has malfunctioned, been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Nespresso or an authorised service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• During operation, do not touch the moving impeller with fingers, hands, utensils or any other body parts.
• Keep hands and utensils out of the container while the device is operating to reduce the risk of injury or damage to the device.
• Ensure that the attachments, including the impeller and nanoscreen, are properly assembled before switching on the device.
• Never add ingredients to the container while the device is operating.
• Always ensure that the container is properly positioned and suitable for use before operating the device.
• Extreme caution must be used when operating the device in containers holding hot liquids.
• Never leave the device unattended during operation.
• Turn the device off before removing it from the milk or drink preparation.
• Do not hit the shaft or attachments against the container to remove excess milk or liquid, as this may damage the device.
• This device is not intended for use by persons, including children, with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given close supervision and instruction concerning safe use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.
• Close supervision is necessary when the device is used by or near children.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Do not allow children to use the device without adult supervision.
• Keep the device and its charging cable out of reach of children.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This device is not suitable for use with products such as eggs, protein powders, flour-based recipes or similar preparations.
• Milk and plant-based drinks must be purchased from reputable sources and stored according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Soy, almond and oat drinks may be used for preparations. These are sources of allergens and are not suitable for people with relevant allergies.
• For people with food allergies or intolerances, use a separate device for each type of milk or plant-based drink to avoid cross-contamination of allergens such as milk, gluten, almond or similar.
• No liability is accepted for use other than the intended purpose, faulty operation, misuse, inappropriate handling, non-professional repairs, or internal or external modifications of the device. Warranty services may also be excluded in such cases.

CLEANING

• Turn the device off and disconnect it from the charging source before cleaning, assembling or disassembling parts.
• Clean the device after each use and in accordance with the user manual.
• Make sure the device, charging port and all parts are completely dry before charging or storing.
• Do not immerse the main body of the device in water or any other liquid.
• Electricity and water together can cause a fatal electric shock.
• The device and its components are not dishwasher safe.
• Do not clean the device using abrasive cleaners, sharp objects or aggressive cleaning agents.
• Allow all parts to dry fully before reassembling or storing the device.

DISPOSAL

• Packaging materials and the appliance contain recyclable materials.
• Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Separation of the remaining waste materials into different types facilitates the recycling of valuable raw materials.
• The device contains a Li-ion battery and must not be disposed of with normal household waste.
• Leave the appliance at an appropriate collection point for electrical and electronic equipment. You can obtain information on disposal from your local authority.
