SWEET & JAM
Master Origins El Salvador is a mild yet flavorful coffee with distinct sweet biscuit, fruity jam, and cereal notes. Sourced from the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range, nestled beside the active Santa Ana volcano, this coffee boasts a delightful complexity thanks to its careful processing methods, including the red honey process.
ORIGIN
Grown under shade trees in the fertile volcanic soil of the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range, this all-Arabica blend comes from one of El Salvador’s most prized coffee-growing regions. The combination of altitude, climate, and volcanic soil creates ideal terroir for cultivating rich, aromatic beans. A portion of the coffee is processed using the red honey method, where a controlled amount of pulp is left on the drying cherry to impart a jammy sweetness that enhances the blend’s natural flavors.
ROASTING
The coffee is split roasted to maximize the complexity of the blend. The red honey processed beans are roasted separately in a light roast to preserve their unique sweetness, while the washed beans receive a slightly longer and darker roast to add balance and depth.
AROMATIC PROFILE
This mild coffee features sweet biscuit, fruity jam, and cereal notes with a low bitterness. The red honey process adds a distinct jammy sweetness, giving the coffee a rich complexity while maintaining its mild and smooth character.
