Kahawa Ya Congo is a smooth organic Vertuo coffee that celebrates the rich coffee heritage of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Grown along the fertile Lake Kivu shores, this 100% Arabica coffee offers mild fruity notes, sweet cereal character, and delicate nutty aromas in a balanced and satisfying cup.

ORIGIN
This coffee is sourced from the lush Lake Kivu region in eastern Congo, where fertile volcanic soils and a favorable climate create ideal conditions for Arabica coffee. As part of Nespresso’s Reviving Origins program, Kahawa Ya Congo supports the recovery of coffee farming communities in a region where coffee production has faced years of instability. The result is a distinctive organic coffee with a smooth body and gentle aromatic complexity.

ROASTING
Kahawa Ya Congo is split roasted in two batches. Both roasts are short and dark, with one batch roasted slightly longer to develop more intensity and depth. This careful roasting approach helps bring balance to the cup while preserving its sweet cereal, mild fruit, and nutty notes.
